The Dallas Division honors Roberta S. Clark for her work as the community director of the North Texas/Oklahoma Regional Office of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).

Ms. Clark brings significant leadership and experience in programming, leadership development, and Jewish educational knowledge to her position. Her responsibilities include cultivating relationships with community leaders, educators, interfaith leaders, law enforcement professionals, political leaders, and media representatives.

Throughout her ADL career, she developed and implemented the first Interfaith Security Conference for the Florida and Austin ADL offices; trained thousands of law enforcement professionals in ADL resources and programs; and worked closely with law enforcement on cases concerning hate groups, extremism, and terrorism. In addition, Ms. Clark works with educational institutions and school districts to negotiate church and state issues and provides training in the areas of bullying and cyber bullying. She also provides guidance and assistance to community members who believe they have been the victims of discrimination or hate crimes.

Ms. Clark is a member of the FBI Dallas Citizens Academy Alumni Association and is an active member of her community.

In a ceremony at FBI Headquarters on April 4, 2014, Director James B. Comey recognized the recipients of the 2013 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.

“This year’s honorees have distinguished themselves in remarkable ways through their hard work, their leadership, and their strength of character,” said Director Comey. “They are ordinary citizens, but what they have accomplished is nothing short of extraordinary.”
