The Richmond Division honors Marc Gaudette for his work as a founding member of the Richmond Division Cyber Security Partnership (CSP), an organized group of public and private sector cyber professionals.

Mr. Gaudette is the director of information security for Dominion Virginia Power and lends his expertise in support of CSP’s mission to advance our nation’s interests while benefiting the community. This is accomplished by leveraging the collective experience of all members and promoting information-sharing and fostering professional development. Serving on the advisory committee, Mr. Gaudette helps plan and organize quarterly events that address cyber awareness and provide training to various private, public, and educational entities.

In 2013, Mr. Gaudette helped plan an outreach program with a local high school where several CSP members mentored students interested in the information technology field. In addition, through his employer, Mr. Gaudette offers internships and scholarships to college students. The internships provide students the chance to learn about the cyber security career path and the many opportunities available to them. Through the CSP, Mr. Gaudette has provided opportunities to enhance members’ skills and competencies, share best practices in risk management and information assurance, and share trends and insights regarding current cyber security threats and mitigation strategies.

In addition to his participation with the CSP, Mr. Gaudette serves as a partner and resource for the Richmond Division. He supports the FBI’s mission and encourages the division’s efforts to educate citizens about cyber security.
