The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this homicide.


The Federal Bureau of Investigation's Albuquerque Field Office and the Navajo Nation Division of Public Safety are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for a homicide in Gallup, New Mexico.


On Friday, June 8, 2018, at approximately 6:30 a.m., the body of an adult Native American male was discovered on China Springs Loop, about four miles north of Gallup, New Mexico, on the Navajo Nation reservation. The victim suffered multiple stab wounds. The incident most likely occurred the evening of Thursday, June 7, 2018, or early Friday morning, June 8, 2018. The victim's burned truck was found south of Gallup.


It is reported that a blue, newer-model, four-door sedan had been seen in the area around the time of the homicide. Two Native American males were seen inside the vehicle, which had a standard Arizona license plate on the back.
