Details:

The FBI Boston Division, Cambridge Police Department, Cambridge Fire Department, Massachusetts State Police Fire & Explosion Investigation Unit assigned to the State Fire Marshal’s Office, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives are investigating an arson which occurred on April 9, 2023, at approximately 5:29 p.m., at Faith Lutheran Church/Eritrean Evangelical Church, 311 Broadway, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The fire quickly went to a six-alarm response and was extinguished at approximately 4:00 a.m. on April 10, 2023.

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance and asking anyone with photographs or videos of the scene, including the day before the fire, the day of the fire, and during the firefighting operations, to submit them to fbi.gov/cambridgechurchfire.
