The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information about these crimes.


The FBI's Northern Virginia Violent Crime Taskforce and the Loudoun County Sherriff's Office are investigating two robberies of food markets in Sterling, Virginia, in February of 2020. 


The first robbery occurred at 3:48 a.m., on February 7, 2020, at the 7-Eleven located on 23131 Rock Hill Road, Sterling, Virginia.  The suspect jumped over the counter of the store and stole goods.  He was wearing a gray raincoat with a blue hoodie underneath, black sweatpants, white sneakers, a black mask, one black glove, and one white glove.  The suspect entered the parking lot in a older model (late 90s) burgundy Honda Civic.


The second robbery occurred at 12:58 p.m., on February 10, 2020, at the High Up Food Mart located at 428 Enterprise Street, Sterling, Virginia.  In this robbery, the same suspect took cash from the register of the store.  He was wearing a black mask, black sunglasses, a dark gray hooded jacket, gray sweatpants and black sneakers with white soles.  The suspect presented a handgun.
