“Good afternoon. My name is Paula Ebersole, and I’m an Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Omaha field office. Rooting out corruption in all levels of government is one of the FBI’s top criminal investigative priorities. This includes the right to vote. We want the communities that FBI Omaha serves to know, violating election laws will not be tolerated. Over the years we’ve seen varieties of these types of schemes, to include vote buying, ballot box stuffing, and voter intimidation. Under the Campaign Finance and Ballot Fraud Initiative, the FBI has successfully investigated and prosecuted these types of crimes.
