Special Agent Jeffrey Brown says about 100 people witnessed Mims approach his victims as they lay injured on the ground…
Jeffrey Brown: …and then stood over them and executed the victims—shooting one in the face and one in the back of the head.
Halpern: Mims—whose street name is Tank—could be on the run in the Midwest or southern United States.
An up to $100,000 reward is available for information that leads directly to Mims’ arrest and conviction.
The FBI, its law enforcement partners, and the victims’ families urge anyone with information to report it to 1-800-CALL-FBI or online at tips.fbi.gov.
Brown: We need the public’s help. Getting Mims off the street is paramount.
Halpern: With FBI, This Week, I’m Mollie Halpern of the Bureau.
