The FBI is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information leading directly to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for the destruction of this vehicle.
Details:
The Cincinnati Division of the FBI and the Cincinnati Police Department are seeking information from the public to help identify the person or persons responsible for vandalism and other potential crimes in Cincinnati, Ohio.
On Thursday, May 4, 2017, at approximately 4:20 a.m., a maroon and tan 2006 Ford Explorer in an apartment building parking lot located on Gracely Drive in the Sayler Park neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio, was badly damaged and vandalized with graffiti. Several windows were broken out and the tires were slashed. Swastika symbols and lines were also scratched into the paint. In addition, several words were spray painted inside and outside the vehicle, including “Go home,” “Musslim [sic] terrorist,” “Trump America,” and other phrases and symbols. At the time of the incident, the vehicle was owned by a person of Middle Eastern descent.
A single subject was captured on surveillance video during the incident. The person appears to be wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt and jeans or dark pants.
The FBI and the Cincinnati Police Department are working jointly on this investigation.
