Latest Crime Stats Released

Violent Crime Up, Property Crime Down

According to our just-released Crime in the United States, 2012 report, the estimated number of violent crimes reported to law enforcement increased 0.7 percent over 2011 figures. And the estimated number of property crimes decreased 0.9 percent from 2011—the 10th year in a row that property crimes showed a decline.
