FBI Newark Adds Missing Person to Website and Renews Request for Assistance from the Public

NEWARK—The Newark Division, today, added 28-year-old Mayushi Bhagat to the list of Missing Persons on its webpage, announced FBI Special Agent in Charge James E. Dennehy. Bhagat was last seen on April 29, 2019, leaving her apartment in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was wearing colorful pajama pants and a black t-shirt. Her family reported her missing on May 1, 2019.

Bhagat is 28 years old, 5’10” tall, medium build (150-160 pounds), with black hair and brown eyes. She came to the United States in 2016 on an F1 Student Visa. She was enrolled at the University of New Hampshire and then the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT).
