Serial Bank Robber Sought

Special Agents in Charge Edward Reinhold, Knoxville Division, and John A. Strong, Charlotte Division, are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a subject wanted for questioning in several bank robberies in North Carolina and Tennessee.

The subject has used a variety of vehicles with stolen plates. The most recent vehicle used in Knoxville, Tennessee, on March 11, 2016, is described as a black or dark blue 2015 Toyota Camry.

During the two February robberies, the subject is believed to have used a black Chevrolet Trailblazer.

The subject is described as a white, male, approximately 6’02” to 6’03” tall, mid-40s, with a mole on his right cheek.

Anyone with information about these robberies, or the individual or vehicles pictured, is asked to call the Knoxville FBI at 865-544-0751 or the Charlotte FBI at 704-672-6100

Multiple law enforcement agencies are involved in this manhunt, including the Knoxville and Charlotte FBI Safe Streets Task Forces, the Knoxville Police Department, Raleigh Police Department, and the Greensboro Police Department.

All defendants are presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
