In honor of National Women’s History Month, the FBI Charlotte Field Office and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) will host a recruitment event for women in law enforcement.
Join us on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police and Fire Training Academy at 1770 Shopton Road in Charlotte, North Carolina. The four-hour-long, drop-in event is designed to be highly interactive. Women who attend will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one to women who work in a variety of positions, both sworn and professional staff. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
9 a.m. to 10 a.m.: Mingle, optional registration session.
10 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Panel discussion featuring women from both agencies in auditorium. Audience members can ask questions.
11 a.m. to 1 p.m: Speak with recruiters, agents, detectives, supervisors, and a variety of professional staff employees. Hands-on demonstrations from the FBI Evidence Response Team and CMPD crime scene technicians, SWAT, bomb squad, K-9, lake patrol, school resource officers, community outreach, and others.
It is important that we represent the people we are sworn to protect and serve. The better we reflect our communities, the better we can protect them. It is our hope that events like these will continue to expand the diversity of our workforces. To learn more about career opportunities with FBI, visit fbijobs.gov.
