FBI Media Alert: FBI Offers Reward of up to $10,000 in Laverda Sorrell Disappearance

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the disappearance of Laverda Sorrell.

Sorrell, who resided in Navajo, New Mexico, on the Navajo Nation, was reported missing by a family member on July 8, 2002.

Sorrell’s husband said she had been missing since July 4, 2002, when he dropped her off at an office in Fort Defiance, Arizona.

The FBI and Navajo Nation Division of Public Safety are investigating.
