The Federal Bureau of Investigation's Richmond Field Office, the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office, and the Northumberland County Sheriff's Office in Virginia are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for the homicide of Marcus Andrapolis Robinson in 2013.
Robinson, an Iraq War veteran and long-time resident of Northumberland County, was 29 years old at the time of his disappearance. He was last seen at his family home in Heathsville, Virginia, on March 9, 2013. It is believed that Robinson drove around the Georgetown area of Heathsville in his white 2006 Lincoln Town Car that day, prior to a planned meeting on Davis Mill Road in Lancaster County. He has not been seen since.
Robinson's vehicle was discovered on March 10, 2013, in Northumberland County, engulfed in flames. It was later revealed that the fire had been intentionally set and there was evidence that a gun had been discharged inside the vehicle, though Robinson was not located at the scene. Robinson is considered a homicide victim.
