FBI Seattle Releases New Wanted Posters for Auburn, Washington Individuals Who Failed to Appear for Sentencing

SEATTLE, WA—The FBI’s Seattle Field Office is seeking the public’s assistance to locate Bernard Ross Hansen and Diane Renee Erdmann, who failed to appear for their sentencing hearing on Friday, April 29, in the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.

In July 2021, both Hansen and Erdmann were convicted of multiple counts of mail fraud and wire fraud, following a federal fraud investigation. On April 29, 2022, they fled their Auburn, Washington home and are most likely traveling in a blue 2005 Mazda MPV, with Washington license plates reading CBN0818. They may also be in a tan 2007 Cadillac CTS, with Washington license plates reading ADK0039. They may be in South King County but also have ties to California.
