On November 29, 2018, the FBI responded alongside tribal and county law enforcement authorities to an incident which occurred in Wynona, Oklahoma.

After initial investigation, the location in which the crime occurred has been verified by both the Osage Nation and the Department of Interior as non-trust land. Jurisdiction of the investigation will be assumed by the Osage County Sheriff’s Office.

The FBI will continue to assist local authorities with matters related to the ongoing investigation.

No arrests have been made at this time.
