Eric J. Mallory Arrested for His Alleged Involvement in the Robbery of Two Local Banks

On Thursday, September 29, 2016, the FBI New Orleans Division’s Violent Crime Task Force and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Eric J. Mallory, age 33, in Gretna, Louisiana. Mallory is accused of robbing two local banks in the New Orleans area within the last several months.

On Tuesday, July 27, 2016, at approximately 10:00 a.m., the CapitalOne Bank branch located at 1867 Barataria Blvd. in Marrero, Louisiana, 70072, was robbed. During this robbery, Eric Mallory is believed to have entered the bank, approached the counter, and demanded money from the teller. He then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.

On Thursday, September 22, 2016, at approximately 9:15 a.m., Eric Mallory is also accused of entering the Gulf Coast Bank & Trust, approaching the teller counter, and announcing a robbery by presenting a demand note to the teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, Eric Mallory fled the bank.
