Reward Offered for Man Wanted in Bank Robbery

MOUNTAIN LAKES, NJ—The Newark FBI, Mountain Lakes Police, and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office are asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey. FBI agents have a federal arrest warrant for Tony Winst (DOB): 12/26/1977) for allegedly robbing the PNC Bank, at 425 Boulevard in Mountain Lakes, on November 17, 2023. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to his arrest.

Winst went into the bank, demanded money, and threatened that he had a weapon. He then ran away from the bank into the woods. No one was hurt during the robbery. He’s described as bald, with tattoos on both hands and had teardrop tattoos at the corner of each eye that have been removed. He’s 6’ tall, and 200 pounds. Winst is known to have connections to Elizabeth and Newark, New Jersey, New York, New York, Chicago, Illinois, and Seattle, Washington. Winst also goes by the aliases “Tony Miller” and “Tony Tailor.” He has been known to use taxis to travel.

If anyone has information about the bank robbery, or Winst’s whereabouts, they are asked to call the Newark FBI at 973-792-3000, or 1-800-CALL-FBI. They can also submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov. They could receive a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
