FBI Announces Reward for and Photos of Sock Hat Bandit
Law enforcement is releasing photographs and offering a reward for information regarding a serial bank robber who has robbed seven banks since April 2015 in the Northern Kentucky and Central-Southern Ohio areas. In each case, the suspect has presented a note demanding cash and claimed to have a gun. Although nobody has been physically hurt during the robberies, the subject should be considered armed and dangerous.
The bank robbery suspect has been described as a white male, clean shaven, age 35-45, average height and weight. The suspect has worn a sock hat in all seven robberies and has worn glasses in five of seven robberies. In one case, the suspect was seen leaving in a small maroon four door car.
