Female Agent Recruiting Event

As part of the FBI’s pledge to the 30x30 initiative, which aims to bring more women into policing to improve public safety, community outcomes, and trust in law enforcement, FBI Louisville will host a Female Agent Recruiting Event on August 23, 2023. During the event, female special agents will discuss their path into the FBI and attendees will gain an understanding of the special agent application process, qualifications, and physical fitness standards.

Applying to be a Special Agent 

FBI special agents are required to adhere to strict standards of conduct and exemplify the FBI’s Core Competencies, including:

  • Collaboration

  • Communication

  • Flexibility/Adaptability

  • Initiative

  • Leadership

  • Organizing and Planning

  • Problem Solving/Judgment

The open-ended questions are designed to understand your background and fit with these competencies. As such, you are strongly encouraged to provide as much information as possible and use the Situation, Action, Result format to describe the situation, the actions you took, and the resulting outcomes.
