FBI Assisting Osyka Police Following Bank Robbery
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Osyka, Mississippi Police Department with a bank robbery that occurred at 9:35 a.m. on August 4, 2016 at First Bank of Osyka.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing a black “Dickey’s” suit.
As the suspect entered the bank, he pulled a black mesh net over his head and displayed a .45 caliber or smaller pistol and demanded money. The suspect was able to get away with an unknown amount of money.
The suspect was able to get a bank employee’s car keys and departed west toward I-55. The vehicle is a white 2009 Nissan Altima with Louisiana Tag SYF 722.
