FBI Cleveland Seeking Public’s Assistance Identifying Emerald Credit Union Robbery Suspect

CLEVELAND - The FBI Violent Crime Task Force (FBI VCTF) requests the public’s assistance identifying a lone robbery suspect. 

On Monday, May 8, 2023, at approximately 1:05 p.m., an unknown black male subject entered and robbed Emerald Credit Union, 13201 Granger Road in Garfield Heights, Ohio. 

The unknown subject entered the bank and sat in the lobby waiting for customers to leave. At that time, the unknown subject approached the victim teller and produced a demand note.   

The unknown subject then departed the bank through the front door and was observed running south toward the intersection of East 133rd Street, East 134th Street, and Granger Road.

The unknown subject then ran south on East 134th Street and was observed getting into the passenger side of a mid-'90s, non-plated Nissan Pathfinder SUV.
