FBI Seeking Information on Armed Robbers of Gun Shop

The FBI Baltimore Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking the public’s help in identifying individual’s part of an armed robbery of Clyde’s Sport Shop located at 2307 Hammonds Ferry Road on April 6, 2016.

On April 6, at approximately 8:25 p.m. video from Clyde’s showed three suspects positioning themselves behind a dumpster behind the sports shop. Then, the three suspects, two armed with semi-automatic handguns, entered the store and forced an employee to the back of the store.

One of the suspects attempted to steal several AR-15 rifles from behind the counter and headed to the store exit. The two other suspects were in the rear of the store, where one held the employee on the floor at gunpoint. Shots were fired by the suspects, which caused the suspect to drop the AR-15 rifles in a store aisle and exit the store, followed by the two other suspects. The three fled on foot in the direction of Hammonds Ferry Road. No one was injured in the robbery attempt.

The Baltimore FBI Violent Crimes Task Force is made up of FBI agents, Baltimore City Police detectives, Baltimore County Police detectives, and Anne Arundel County Police detectives. They investigate significant violent crimes, including kidnappings, robberies of commercial institutions, armored car and bank robberies, extortions, and fugitive felons.
