An FBI special agent suffered a non-life-threatening injury after he was shot while helping to serve a federal search warrant in the 2700 block of 12th Street NW in Albuquerque this morning (12/11/2020).

The agent was transported to UNM Hospital in stable condition.

There were no other injuries.

A suspect in the shooting is in federal custody.

Because the warrant is sealed and this is an ongoing investigation, no further information can be released at this time.
