FBI Media Update: Man Robs Albuquerque Uptown Bank

A man wearing a white or light gray hooded sweatshirt robbed a U.S. Bank branch in Albuquerque Uptown on Monday morning, March 12, 2018. The suspect was described as in his 20s and approximately 6' to 6'1 tall.

He wore a white or light gray hooded sweatshirt with a black ski cap under the hood, gray sweat pants, and a light-colored bandana or mask that covered the lower part of his face.

The suspect entered U.S. Bank, 2300 Louisiana Boulevard, NE., at approximately 9:19 a.m.

He presented a demand note to a teller, who handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect.

The suspect was seen running towards the Hyatt Place hotel.

The FBI is asking the public to call if they find any clothing, money, or a plastic shopping bag in the area that may have been discarded by the suspect. The items may be colored by a red dye.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
