FBI Media Alert: Man Wearing Indianapolis Pacers Hoodie Robs Albuquerque Bank, Flees in White Car
The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify an unknown man who is responsible for a credit union robbery on Monday, August 22, 2022.
At approximately 4:51 p.m., the suspect entered U.S. Eagle Federal Credit Union, located at 7201 Menaul Boulevard NE. The suspect displayed a weapon to a teller and demanded money. The robber received an undisclosed sum of money and drove away in what appeared to be a white Kia Soul.
Suspect’s Description:
- Sex: Male
- Race: Black
- Height: Approximately 5'8” to 6'0"
- Build: Slender
- Clothing: Red baseball cap, dark Indiana Pacers hooded sweatshirt over a white T-shirt, gray gloves, dark pants, and dark shoes.
- Other: The suspect carried a small orange bag and had a deep voice.
This suspect may also be responsible for the August 8, 2022, robbery of Western Commerce Bank, 1910 Wyoming Boulevard NE, in Albuquerque.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
