FBI Media Alert: FBI Offers Reward for Bling Ring Bandit After Albuquerque Bank Robbery
The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the Bling Ring Bandit who is responsible for a bank robbery on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.
At approximately 5:07 p.m., an unknown male walked up to First Convenience Bank, located inside the Walmart Supercenter, 3500 Coors Boulevard SW. The suspect presented a demand note to a teller. The robber received an undisclosed sum of money and left the bank.
Suspect’s Description:
- Sex: Male
- Race: Black
- Height: 5'9”
- Weight: 160 pounds
- Hair: Black
- Clothing: Tan plaid baseball cap; thin-frame eyeglasses; blue surgical mask; dark sweater with white Calvin Klein logo on the front; gray hoodie underneath the sweater.
- Other: The suspect wore a large gold-colored ring on his right little finger, and carried an orange bag.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
