The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the Pink Backpack Bandit, who robbed the Bank of Albuquerque, 8221 Wyoming Blvd NE, at approximately 11:17 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

Suspect’s description:

• Sex: Male
• Race: White/Hispanic
• Height: Approximately 6’0”
• Age: 30s
• Clothing: Purple, Black & White Lakers Jacket; grey pants

The suspect entered the bank, brandished a silver handgun and made verbal demands for money. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who left the bank heading north. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.
