FBI Media Alert: FBI Offers Reward for Swoosh and Sack Stealer Responsible for Albuquerque Credit Union Robbery

The FBI and Albuquerque Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the Swoosh and Sack Stealer, who robbed Nusenda Credit Union, 7517 Montgomery Boulevard NE, on Monday, February 27, 2023.

At approximately 2:36 p.m., an unknown male walked into the credit union and presented a demand note to a teller. The robber received an undisclosed sum of money and was seen running north from the credit union.

Suspect’s Description:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: Hispanic
  • Age: 25-30 years old
  • Height: Approximately 5'8
  • Build: Slender
  • Hair: Possible brown or black beard
  • Clothing: White baseball cap with Nike swoosh logo and red brim; white mask; dark hooded sweatshirt.
  • Other: The suspect carried a dark backpack.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
