Donald Christy, age 72, of Hilton Head, and Lisa Arnold, age 48, of Walterboro, were charged in a 6-count Information with Wire Fraud and Misprision of a Felony, a violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 1343 and 4. The maximum penalty that Christy and Arnold could receive is 20 years’ imprisonment.

The case was investigated by agents of the FBI and is assigned to Assistant United States Attorney Rhett DeHart of the Charleston office for prosecution.
