MADISON, WI—John W. Vaudreuil, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Brice Allen Wallace, 27, Clear Lake, Wis., was sentenced Friday, October 30, by U.S. District Judge James D. Peterson to six years—one year above the five year minimum mandatory required by law—in federal prison for possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute. Wallace pleaded guilty to this offense on August 28, 2015.

In November 2014, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at a residence in Clear Lake where Wallace had been living. In his bedroom, officers found 10 baggies, each containing approximately one ounce of methamphetamine.

The charges against Wallace were the result of an investigation conducted by the St. Croix Valley Drug Task Force and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Prosecution of the case has been handled by Assistant U.S. Attorney Timothy M. O’Shea.
