TAMPA, FL—As part of the FBI’s commitment to attract highly skilled and diverse talent, the FBI Tampa Field Office will host a series of Diversity Agent Recruitment (DAR) Events, April 2-3, 2018 in Tampa and April 4-5, 2018 in Orlando. These DAR events are part of an initiative aimed at reaching applicants with a variety of backgrounds to more fully diversify the FBI.

FBI Special Agents will be at the events to discuss the many available career paths. Threats have become increasingly complex and global. Having individuals with a wide variety of backgrounds and knowledge of cultures and languages helps us better understand and engage the diverse public we serve, and enables us to effectively investigate national security and criminal threats, while preserving civil liberties.
