Destructive Device Thrown at Police—Reward Offered

SAN JUAN, PR—SAC Douglass Leff announced that the Federal Bureau of Investigation is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information resulting in the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individual responsible for throwing a destructive device (molotov cocktail) at Police of Puerto Rico agents.

On July 17, 2019 at approximately 11:30 p.m., the individual captured in these images was seen throwing a molotov cocktail at Police of Puerto Rico Agents during protests at La Fortaleza in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Though we respect and protect freedom of speech, acts of violence and criminal conduct cast a dark shadow on the free and peaceful exercise of civil rights and cannot be condoned.
