BOISE—The FBI Salt Lake City Field Office is encouraging business, religious, and community leaders in Idaho to apply for our next FBI Citizens Academy. The 2023 Spring class will be held in person at the Boise Police Department Wednesday to Friday evenings, for two consecutive weeks beginning April 19, with a Saturday session on April 29.

The FBI Citizens Academy provides community leaders with an inside look into how the FBI Salt Lake City Field Office serves communities in Idaho, Utah, and Montana. Participants will have a chance to engage with FBI leadership, special agents, and professional staff as they learn about the Bureau’s mission to “protect the American people and uphold the Constitution of the United States.” Content includes exploration of the FBI’s investigative priorities including terrorism, counterintelligence, civil rights, cybercrime, public corruption, and violent crime.

Nearly 700 people have graduated from the Salt Lake City Field Office’s Citizens Academy program since 2003.
