FBI Seeks the Public’s Assistance in Identifying South Side Bank Robber

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Pittsburgh Division and the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the unknown male responsible for robbing the First Commonwealth Bank at 2501 East Carson Street, Pittsburgh, PA, at approximately 3:24 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2017.

The robber walked into the First Commonwealth Bank, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash. The robber was also carrying a green grocery bag. The man was described in a similar fashion as the most recent robber at the same bank on August 24, 2017. The robber is described as follows:

  • Race: White
  • Sex: Male
  • Height: Approximately 6’2”
  • Weight: N/A
  • Clothing: Light colored jeans, dark hoodie, a black stocking pulled down to the top of his mouth, and a black baseball cap.
