FBI and the Shaler Township Police Seek the Public’s Assistance in Identifying Shaler Bank Robber

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Pittsburgh Division and the Shaler Township Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the unknown male responsible for robbing the NexTier Bank, 1626 Babcock Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA, around 10:48 a.m. on April 29, 2017.

The robber was given cash after handing a note to the teller. He was seen leaving on foot behind the bank towards Evergreen Road. No injuries were reported. A reward is being offered for any information leading to apprehension of the suspect.

The robber is described as follows:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: Black
  • Age: Mid-20’s
  • Build: Slim/Slender
  • Height: Approximately 5'11” to 6’
  • Clothing: Black flat-brimmed Pirates cap with a gold P and sticker on the brim, light bluehooded Puma sweatshirt with white stripes across chest and sleeves, black sneakers
