FBI and the Shaler Police Department Seek the Public’s Assistance In Identifying Shaler Bank Robber

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Pittsburgh Division and the Shaler Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the unknown male responsible for robbing the Allegheny Valley Bank branch located at 900 Mt. Royal Boulevard in Shaler, Pennsylvania, on Novermber 2, 2016.

At approximately 9:00 a.m., a lone white male entered the bank armed with a handgun. The robber was described as approximately 5'8”-5'10” tall, 170 pounds, and appearing to be in his 50s. He was wearing an orange sweatshirt, a wig, and a homemade mask covering his face. He was driving a newer-model black Nissan Versa. A partial Pennsylvania plate was obtained bearing the following: J**-**10. It appears the other digits of the plate may have been manipulated prior to the robbery.
