Lincoln Woman Sentenced for Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine

On May 22, 2014, Krystal Lynn Burke, 47, of Lincoln, was sentenced to 42 months in prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. On January 3, 2013, a search warrant was served at Burke’s Lincoln residence. During the search, officers found 107 grams of methamphetamine which tested as at least 95 percent pure with a digital scale on a freezer in the basement. Additional small amounts of methamphetamine were found in Burke’s basement bedroom. Burke waived her Miranda rights and said all the methamphetamine in the house belonged to her.

Following the prison term, Burke will serve three years on supervised release. She was also ordered to forfeit $388 cash found during the search.
