Reward of $5,000 Offered for Capture of Two Violent Armed Robbery Suspects

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Milwaukee Division and the Milwaukee Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying two robbery suspects responsible for the armed robbery of Sparkle Foods located at 2526 W. Hopkins Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which occurred at approximately 6:55 p.m. on June 15, 2014.

The two unidentified suspects entered Sparkle Foods discharging firearms and announcing the store was being robbed. At the time of the incident, there were only two employees present and approximately six female juvenile customers shopping. Multiple rounds were fired during the incident, resulting in one of the juvenile customers suffering a gunshot wound to her upper left thigh. After the shots were fired both suspects fled the store east bound on W. Hopkins Street.

The FBI has initiated an investigation under the federal Hobbs Act (18 U.S.C. § 1951), which prohibits actual or attempted robbery or extortion affecting interstate or foreign commerce and will be worked by members of the FBI/MPD District 5 Gang Task Force.

Suspects 1 & 2:

  • Sex: Unknown
  • Race: Unknown
  • Height: 5’8” to 5’10” tall
  • Weight: 175 to 180 pounds
  • Build: Medium
  • Clothes: White colored fabric covering their faces, dark colored hooded sweatshirts (pulled up), dark-colored pants, shoes, and sunglasses. Both armed with black handguns.

The FBI is offering a reward of $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for the robbery and shooting at Sparkle Foods in Milwaukee on June 15, 14. Anyone with information is urged to call the FBI Milwaukee Division at 414-276-4684.
