FBI, Fort Hall Tribal Police Seek Tips in Stabbing Case

The FBI Salt Lake City Division and the Fort Hall Tribal Police Department are requesting the public’s help in locating an adult male wanted in connection with a stabbing on July 13, 2013. The incident occurred at approximately 3:45 p.m. on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation in Idaho. The victim, an adult male, was treated at a local hospital for stab wounds.

Law enforcement is seeking information that will assist in locating Arthur Fred, Jr., who is wanted for questioning in connection with the stabbing.

A tribal arrest warrant has been issued for Fred, who is described as 50 years old, 5’10” tall, and weighing approximately 240 lbs. He should be considered armed and dangerous, and the public is advised not to approach this individual and to contact authorities with information regarding his whereabouts. The public is asked to report tips to the Fort Hall Tribal Police Department at (208) 238-4000 or the FBI Salt Lake City Division at (801) 579-1400.
