Seeking Information on Bank Robbery in Salt Lake City

Special Agent In Charge, Timothy J. Fuhrman, of the Salt Lake City, Utah Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, requests the assistance of the public in the following matter:

On November 4, 2008, at approximately 1:10 p.m., an unidentified white male entered the Key Bank , at 2299 So., Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah and presented the victim Teller with a note indicating it was a robbery and implying he had a weapon and demanded money.

On November 10, 2008, at approximately 9:40 a.m., the same individual robbed the Wells Fargo Bank at 8295 West 3500 So., Magna, Utah. The subject presented a note indicating it was a robbery and implying he had a gun and demanded money.  The subject was described as a white male, approximately 5’10” to 6’” tall and has a medium build.

On November 25, 2008 at approximately 12:15 p.m., the same individual robbed the Cyprus Credit Union at 3432 West 3500 So., Magna, Utah. The subject again presented a note indicating it was a robbery and implying he had a gun and demanded money.  The FBI and its local law enforcement partners request the assistance of the public to provide the identity and whereabouts of the subject(s) involved.

Wells Fargo Bank, in conjunction with the Utah Bankers Association, is offering up to a $10,000 reward for original information leading to the identification, apprehension, and conviction of the person(s) involved in the robbery at the Wells Fargo bank located at 8295 West 3500 South, Magna, UT, on November 10, 2008 at 9:40 AM.”

Because of the nature of the offense and the potential danger posed to the public, the public is strongly cautioned against attempting to contact or detain this individual. If you have information concerning this individual, please contact your local police department by dialing 911 or the FBI Salt Lake City office at (801) 579-1400.
