Clackamas County Sheriff's Deputies captured a suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery this morning at 6915 SE Lake Road in Milwaukie. The man, wearing a black face mask and carrying a gun, entered the Oregonian Federal Credit Union at about 11:20 a.m. Once he exited the bank, a witness saw him try to open the door of a red Ford Taurus in a get-away attempt. He was unsuccessful, but Clackamas County deputies and FBI agents are now attempting to locate and identify the driver of that vehicle. No one was hurt.

Deputies pursued the suspect on foot, and captured him several blocks away as he tried to enter a home through a dog door. His identity will be released after charges are filed.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office at (503) 655-8218 or the FBI at (503) 224-4181.
