Seeking Information about Abduction of a Teenage Girl

The Minneapolis Office of the FBI is seeking information concerning the possible abduction of a teenage girl that occurred earlier today. At approximately 12:48 p.m., the unidentified victim was at a bus stop located on Nicollet Avenue South, between 26th and 27th Streets in Minneapolis. A vehicle occupied by four to five black males, approximately 19-21 years of age, was parked nearby. The young men were asking the possible victim to come along with them. The possible victim said she would not go with them as she was on her way to work. One of the young men grabbed the possible victim and forced her into the vehicle. The possible victim told a nearby citizen to call 911. The vehicle was last seen traveling northbound on Nicollet Avenue South.

The possible victim is described as a black female, approximately 16 years old, wearing blue jeans, a waist length tan jacket, a pink hooded sweatshirt, and black leather knee high boots. The vehicle is described as a tan or gold 1990’s era Chevrolet Suburban, with dark tinted windows, and in good condition. The license plate began with the numbers 078, but the State of registration is not known.
