Alija Kucuk was sentenced today in Miami Federal Court to 60 days in prison followed by one year of supervised release for interference with a flight attendant, in violation of Title 49, United States Code, Section 46504.

On October 15, 2015, the defendant was on board a Jet Blue Airways Flight 153 en route to Palm Beach International Airport from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport when the altercation transpired.
