FBI Releases Photographs of a Bank Robbery Today in Plantation

The FBI is releasing photographs from a bank robbery that took place on February 14 at approximately 10:15 a.m. at the TD Bank branch located at 1800 North Pine Island in Plantation, Florida.

A robber entered the bank, displayed a weapon and demanded money from a bank employee. There were customers in the bank at the time, there were no injuries. Money was taken, but the amount will not be released at this time.

Investigators believe this robbery may have been carried out by the same robber of the same bank back on January 7 (see http://www.fbi.gov/miami/press-releases/2015/fbi-releases-photographs-of-a-bank-robbery-today-in-plantation).

At this time, the earlier robbery in Weston is not believed to be connected to this robbery; however, the investigation is still ongoing.

Anyone who has information as to the identity of this bank robber is urged to call the FBI at (754) 703-2000 or Crimestoppers.
