FBI is Seeking Information About a Bank Robbery in Miami

The FBI is seeking information about bank robbery that took place July 6, 2017 at approximately 11:15 a.m. at a TD Bank branch, located at 7400 SW 40th Street, Miami, Florida.

The robber entered the bank, fired a weapon (at least twice) and demanded money from employees. There were customers in the bank. There were no injuries. The amount of money taken during the robbery will not be released at this time. The robber left the area in a stolen bakery van. The van was recovered in the area of 6300 Manor Drive, South Miami, Florida.

No arrests have been made. Investigators have not ruled out the robber may have had accomplices.

MDPD, FHP, South Miami PD, and the FBI continue the investigation.
