FBI Announces Reward for Information About a Miami Bank Robbery

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $15,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the person responsible for the robbery of a TD Bank branch at 7400 SW 40th Street, Miami, Florida on July 6, 2017.

During the robbery, the unidentified subject brandished a weapon, fired it multiple times, and demanded money from a bank employee. The amount of money taken will not be released.

The robber escaped using a stolen bakery van that was later recovered by Miami Dade Police Department officers at 6300 Manor Lane, South Miami, Florida.

Investigators have dubbed this robber the “Trigger Happy Bandit.”

This robber should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.

An FBI special agent will be available for sound between 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., August 4, 2017, at the FBI main office at 2030 SW 145 Avenue, Miramar, Florida, 33027. (Spanish speaker is available.)

Miami Dade Police Department, the South Florida Violent Crime Task Force, and the FBI continue their investigation.
