FBI Houston Seeks “Over the Hill Heister” for Bank Robbery
Up to $5,000 Cash Reward
HOUSTON, TX—FBI Houston’s Violent Crime Task Force is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a man, dubbed the “Over the Hill Heister,” who robbed a Capital One Bank in west Houston. Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information which leads to the identification and arrest of the robber.
The robbery occurred at approximately 1:08 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the Capital One Bank located at 1260 Blalock Road in Houston, Texas. During the robbery, the suspect entered the bank, waited in line, then approached a teller and handed them a note which threatened the teller and demanded cash. The suspect fled the bank eastbound on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.
The robber is described as a Hispanic male in his 50s, approximately 5’6” tall, with a stocky build, graying hair, and stubble on his face. During the robbery he wore a black short-sleeved shirt, khaki pants, dark-colored shoes, glasses, and spoke with a heavy Spanish accent.
