Federal Arrest of an El Paso Man for Possession and Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material
EL PASO, TX—On March 22, 2022, the Federal Bureau of Investigation El Paso Field Office arrested 26-year-old Brendan Bradford from El Paso, Texas. Bradford has been charged by a federal criminal complaint filed today, March 23, 2022, with one count of 18 U.S.C. § 2252(a)(2)—Receipt and Distribution of a Visual Depiction Involving Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
At the end of February 2022, the FBI El Paso Field Office received a complaint that Bradford had been distributing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) on social media platforms over the past three months.
The FBI El Paso’s Child Exploitation & Human Trafficking Task Force is investigating this case.
Upon conviction, Bradford faces up to 20 years in federal prison per count.
