The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force Needs Your Help Identifying a Serial Armed Robber

The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Wheat Ridge, Aurora, Denver, and Lakewood Police Departments need your help identifying the serial armed robber who targeted seven metro area grocery stores between April 5 and May 2, 2019. The suspect has robbed customer service counters and check stands, and has presented or simulated a weapon during many of the robberies.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, possibly in his 30’s, 5’8” to 6’0" tall, skinny build with dark facial hair.

Please be on the lookout for anyone matching the suspect’s description. Be aware of anyone similar who might have recently changed their spending habits or discussed coming into money suddenly.

Under the Hobbs Act, interference with commerce by threats or violence is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence, and up to $250,000 fine for each offense. Possession of a firearm, during or in relation to a crime of violence, is punishable by no less than a seven year prison sentence and up to life in prison for each offense.
